A process-based “table of contents” about a generic design process that trades off (1) the needs of developing a good design intervention, (2) the needs of good design pedagogy/andragogy, and (3) the pragmatics of managing a one-semester course in design.
Before starting in with the actual design process for this course, study the design process overview, which describes designing in broad strokes and helps put it into context.

Here is a simple visual overview of the process.

The problem with this visualization is that is assumes every step is conducted perfectly… but nothing is perfect. Do not think you will go through this process as suggested here. You will make mistakes but you won't notice them right away, and you will have to jump back in the process to revise your work.
