Welcome to XikiXiki is a wiki, a text-based tool for collaborating and sharing information through the web. Wikis have been used successfully in business/industry, online community settings, and research environments. But I've found no existing wiki that does what I want it to do, and does it well. So I've decided to create my own wiki that incorporates some of the best features of existent wikis, but also adds some new stuff. The overall goals of Xiki are: flexibility, usability, simplicity, and elegance ("FUSE"). See Design philosophy for more.
The total number of hits on all pages of this site is: 1122734. |
Xiki is Open-SourcedXiki is still embryonic and is not available for download. Users cannot register yet either. Indeed, Xiki is undergoing extensive revision. I hope to have the next version running by May 2008. See my roadmap for more. --Fil Salustri If you want to contribute, contact Fil Salustri at salustri@ryerson.ca and tell me what you want to do. I'll arrange for edit access to this site. Jump Points
How many wiki-ers does it take to change a lightbulb? Only one. But anyone can change it back. |
